The Festival Bookstall is a co-operative run by Unity Books and The Women's Bookshop, two of New Zealand's leading independent booksellers.
We provide several bookstalls at various festival locations - three separate bookstalls on three different levels of the Aotea Centre, one at the Art Gallery on Saturday and Sunday, another in the Herald Theatre for the Family Day on Sunday, and at lunches, launches and literary salons around Auckland.
Getting the right books to the right venue at the right time is a fascinating logistical exercise! It takes a bunch of well-organised women from two brilliant businesses, working co-operatively, to make it all happen!
